Ela é bastante popular em Curitiba. Deliciosa, a TORTA BANOFFEE tem em sua composição uma massa feita de bolacha (biscoito) e para o recheio banana, chantilly e doce de leite.
Sua origem é inglesa. Lá do outro lado do oceano, ao invés do nosso tradicional doce de leite, o caramelo é o protagonista. Contudo, há várias versões da torta. Encontramos algumas variedades de torta Banoffee por aqui. Inclusive já experimentei a tradicional com o caramelo, mas também com chocolate e até café.
A torta Banoffee é ideal para aquele gostoso café da tarde ou mesmo um brunch. Aqui na capital paranaense os entardeceres de fim de domingo são bem costumeiros num arranjo de mesa com guloseimas e aquele chazinho ou café aromatizado lembrando a ternura da vovó. Entretanto, para quem prefere ir a uma confeitaria ou esteja conhecendo a cidade, indico um local que é referência em tortas Banoffee. Trata-se da Confeitaria Cecília (Rua Gabriel Frecceiro de Miranda, 736 – bairro Xaxim, Fone: 41-3085-2839).
Bem, vamos à receita de uma deliciosa TORTA BANOFFEE?
Em um processador, triture cerca de 200g de bolacha doce (aquelas de maizena).
Derreta 100g de manteiga sem sal.
Misture os farelos da bolacha com a manteiga.
Agora é só pressionar tudo no fundo e na lateral de uma forma redonda.
Pronto, está feita a base!
Para o chantilly, você pode optar pelo produto pronto, ou fazê-lo com uma latinha de creme de leite, 03 colheres de sopa de açúcar e 01 colher de essência de baunilha (batendo tudo na batedeira).
Vamos montar a torta?
Espalhe o doce de leite sobre a base (bolacha e manteiga) que você montou na forma. Corte bananas e coloque por cima. Por fim, adicione o chantilly. Cubra com caramelo (sim, aquele para sorvete), ou raspas de chocolate.
Deixe na geladeira por 03 horas ou leve ao freezer por 01 hora.
