Beco das Garrafas reinaugura com novidades
Fechado há quase 8 meses devido à pandemia do Covid-19, Bottle’s Bar volta à cena cultural buscando se reinventar e tornar segura a experiência da música ao vivo
Uma experiência na atmosfera da Bossa Nova em seu lugar de origem. Esse é o princípio que moveu a repaginada no Bottle’s Bar, que apresenta agora uma exposição fotográfica, novo cardápio, shows em dueto e nova decoração que aproxima o visitante da história da música brasileira.
Essa vai ser a terceira reinauguração desde que Amanda Bravo, Sergio e Mauricio De Martino resolveram abrir os bares.
A primeira foi no réveillon de 2013 para 2014, em que uniram forças com artistas e apaixonados por música e, através de doações de dinheiro e itens diversos, conseguiram abrir o Bottle’s Bar buscando um patrocínio maior. Conseguiram.
Em meados de 2014, uma cervejaria abraçou a causa e repaginou o bar, incluindo ainda o Little Club, e relançou o Beco mais uma vez ao público, que foi cada vez mais se tornando presente. Seguiu apresentando cerca de 4 shows por noite, todos os dias da semana, se tornando um ponto cultural referência da música ao vivo na cidade. Caiu na graça dos hotéis e empresas de turismo e vinham recebendo diariamente grupos de estrangeiros que buscavam a música brasileira ao vivo, além de terem em sua intensa programação outros estilos como blues, rock, samba e choro e também projetos autorais. O Beco das Garrafas estava fervilhando até que, em abril de 2020, veio a pandemia e com ela a impossibilidade de seguirem abertos.
Desde então, o Beco vem se mantendo fechado e aumentando dívidas, que são amenizadas através de vaquinhas e doações. Porém, chegou ao limite: ou abre agora ou fecha de vez.
Amanda Bravo, sócia, produtora musical e cantora, diz que a criatividade mais uma vez se fez necessária na concepção do novo ambiente e programação: “O Beco é berço da Bossa Nova e não temos mais no Rio de Janeiro um espaço referência desse gênero, que é o mais famoso mundialmente. Então, busquei parcerias para tornar a visita muito mais do que uma ida a um show de música, mas sim um mergulho no universo da Bossa Nova. As paredes da casa já falam, a energia daqui é especial, a história é intensa. Tanto há 60 anos quanto aos 7 anos em que vimos escrevendo essa outra história. Temos muitos arquivos, fotos, materiais de pesquisa. Estamos abrindo com uma parte do que temos – pois não temos dinheiro para fazer mais. Mas, conforme as coisas forem andando, iremos colocando mais quadros e fotografias de artistas que passaram por aqui”.
As paredes estão repletas de fotos, a iluminação está mais forte, o ambiente escuro deu lugar à paredes claras e a capacidade de público foi reduzida em 70%. Durante os shows, as portas estarão abertas e o som terá seu volume reduzido. O público deve sair a cada 1h para renovação do ar e todos os funcionários estarão usando EPIs e munidos de álcool liquido e em gel. Mesas na calçada convidam ainda a drinks a céu aberto e um telão com programação dedicada à música brasileira possibilitam ao público que visitem a casa mesmo sem shows.
“É ainda uma situação inédita para todos mas precisamos tentar. Vamos usando a criatividade e nos adaptando conforme a resposta. Outras ações estão sendo elaboradas para que consigamos sobreviver mas ainda dependemos muito do público. Temos duas lives incríveis sendo finalizadas. A classe musical está conosco mas precisamos de mais suporte. Nosso negócio é a música ao vivo e agora precisamos nos adaptar a esse período, expandindo o que oferecemos.”

A fotógrafa e jornalista Cristina Granato tem construído, ao longo de 35 anos, uma carreira de sucesso no jornalismo cultural. Em 2011, lançou seu primeiro livro de fotografia “Um olhar na música Popular Brasileira”, com 360 fotos que contam parte da história da MPB. Agora, Cristina apresenta a exposição Bossa & Jazz que reúne momentos únicos de cantores, compositores e músicos da bossa nova e do jazz brasileiro.
Seu riquíssimo acervo, formado durante sua vida profissional, somam um milhão de imagens sobre cultura. Na mostra, estão selecionadas algumas fotos de artistas que contribuíram para o sucesso e a memória da bossa nova e do jazz como expressões únicas da música brasileira.
