Aretê recebe Rei e Rainha do Mar e comprova a sua vocação para o esporte de alto rendimento
Atletas olímpicos e influenciadores do universo esportivo participarão do evento
Um novo bairro, um destino de qualidade de vida e bem-estar, repleto de lazer e com um complexo esportivo voltado para atividades de alto rendimento ao ar livre. Esse é o Aretê, que ao final de todas as suas fases, ocupará uma área de seis milhões de metros quadrados próxima à Praia Rasa e Baía Formosa, em Búzios. Neste final de semana, o Rei e Rainha do Mar 2020, evento de águas abertas e esportes de praia mais tradicional do Brasil, terá a sua etapa em Búzios.
A competição contará com protocolos de prevenção à Covid 19 e terá algumas novidades e participações especiais. A Travessia Super Challenge 10k, que será disputada na manhã do sábado, dia 7, contará com os atletas olímpicos Ana Marcela e Allan do Carmo e terá a chegada na Marina, ao lado do Hotel Aretê. Ao final da competição eles participarão, junto com outros esportistas, de um brunch no espaço de convenções do Aretê.
No domingo, da 08, será o lançamento nacional do Beach Sprint. O remo de praia é uma nova modalidade cotada para entrar no programa dos Jogos de Paris, em 2024. Sofia Ibarguren, criada em Búzios e remadora do time Flamengo, e Vangelis Reinke Pereira, medalhista no Mundial FISA 2019, lideram as duas equipes compostas não só por talentos do remo olímpico, mas também do paralímpico, que farão um revezamento de Beach Sprint. Ainda no domingo haverá a prova Beach & Trail Run, com parte do trajeto pela areia e outra por trilha, somando uma distância de 8 km.
Para esta edição, o Aretê, em parceria com o Rei e Rainha do Mar, desenvolveram a Casa RRM Aretê. Os atletas e influenciadores digitais Phelipe Vergara, Catarina Ganzeli, Roberto Sobreira, Ester Dias, Pepe Fiamoncini, Rapha Grato e Alexandra Leontsinis participarão do Aretê Experience na tarde de sábado. Eles serão os primeiros a fazer um treino na piscina olímpica do clube esportivo do novo bairro. Será um aquecimento, conjugado com corrida, para a prova de domingo. Após a competição do dia 08, eles participarão de uma clínica de golfe, treinando suas primeiras tacadas e explorando o campo criado por Pete e Perry Dye.
Já no próximo mês, o bairro, que vem se consolidando como um verdadeiro polo de esportes de alta performance ao ar livre no estado do Rio de Janeiro, o 19º Torneio Aberto do Golfe Clube Aretê. E até o final deste ano, será inaugurada a Pista de Ciclismo Aretê Búzios, a primeira segregada no país. Com assinatura de Walter Tuche e do arquiteto Alexandre Feu, serão 7,5km 100% dedicados ao ciclismo de estrada e mais 2,6 km de uma volta em solo para uso com equipamento gravel, modalidade híbrida que mistura mountain bike e speed.
