Olá,

Primeiro de abril: Dia da Mentira, por quê?

É importante, na medida do possível, mantermos o bom humor diante das adversidades. 

Então, vamos lembrar de brincadeiras de criança?

Mas quando e por que surgiu o Dia da Mentira?

A teoria mais aceita como explicação do surgimento do “Dia da Mentira” tem relação com a mudança no calendário cristão na França, instituída no século XVI. 

Lá, o Ano Novo começava a ser comemorado no dia 25 de março, pois o início da Primavera era visto como o momento da renovação de um ciclo, e só terminava no primeiro dia de abril.

A data era marcada por grandes festas e diversas trocas de presentes.

Por dois anos, o rei francês, Carlos IX , resistiu à mudança e manteve a comemoração do Ano Novo na antiga data, mas, em 1564, passou a seguir o decreto papal em que o Ano Novo acontecia, oficialmente, em primeiro de janeiro.

Só que muitos franceses não se desprenderam de seus costumes e, continuaram com a antiga celebração. 

Assim, os que seguiram a determinação do rei, começaram a ridicularizar a outra parte da população, com zombarias, inclusive,  apelidando-os de bobos de abril. 

Estava consolidado o Dia da Mentira, que posteriormente se espalhou pelo mundo.

Aqui no Brasil, esta data é tradicionalmente celebrada com brincadeiras, que envolvem pequenas mentiras, já que, o intuito é apenas divertir.

Em outros países, como Estados Unidos e Inglaterra, esta tradição popular é também comemorada por pessoas “pregando peças” umas às outras.

A propósito, quem nunca se divertiu com as brincadeiras no dia primeiro de abril?
