Revista do Villa 
O Centro Histórico de Manaus ganhou na última segunda-feira, dia 31 de maio, mais um empreendimento hoteleiro: trata-se do Hotel Casa dos Frades, localizado na Rua 10 de Julho, ao lado da Igreja de São Sebastião, no antigo convento dos Freis Capuchinhos.
Um grupo de formadores de opinião, os frades e o trade turístico estiveram presentes nesta inauguração, seguindo todas as recomendações e protocolos da OMS.
O espaço possui 25 quartos, distribuídos em 4 andares mais um terraço, ao lado da torre da Igreja. Oferece acomodações com ar-condicionado, guarda-roupa, mesa de trabalho e banheiros privativos.
Tem recepção 24 horas e serviço de quarto. Há um projeto de um restaurante, que será aberto ao público em geral, futuramente.
Os hóspedes podem desfrutar de um buffet de café da manhã e opções de café da manhã americano, na acomodação.
O Hotel está instalado na antiga residência dos frades capuchinhos e possui peças e moveis usados pelos mesmos, quando ali residiam. São acervos incríveis. Verdadeiras relíquias.
O projeto de decoração é de autoria de Claudia Mendonça, com ajuda de vários artesãos e amigos arquitetos. Toda cestaria vem dos índios de Belém do Solimões, próximo a Tabatinga, no estado do Amazonas.
A visão privilegiada do Teatro Amazonas e do centro da cidade, e vizinho da Igreja de São Sebastião e várias atrações turísticas, como o Centro Cultural Palácio da Justiça a cerca de 200 metros, a Catedral de Nossa Senhora da Conceição a 700 metros, Mercado Municipal Adolpho Lisboa, a 1,2km entre os pontos de importância cultural, tornam o hotel diferenciado por sua riqueza histórica.
Os valores das diárias variam entre R$180 a R$600, sendo a Suíte do Papa uma das vistas mais sensacionais.
Parabéns a Claudia Mendonça e a todos da equipe por proporcionarem um espaço aconchegante, de paz franciscana e por acreditar no Turismo na cidade de Manaus e Amazonas como um todo.
