Kaká apelido dado pelo irmão mais novo na infância, nasceu em Brasília, mas se mudou para São Paulo ainda criança. Ganhou projeção nacional ao defender o São Paulo FC, onde passou por todas as categorias de base até estreiar entre os profissionais, em janeiro de 2001, aos 18 anos.

Na escolinha, Kaká voltou a se destacar e o técnico, que também era treinador de um clube social o levou para participar do torneio interclubes.
Tansferiu-se em 2003 para o Milan, no qual ficou até 2009. No clube italiano, ganhou nove títulos, incluindo o Mundial de Clubes em 2007, ano em que conquistou a Supercopa da UEFA. Em 2009, foi para o Real Madrid, ganhando 8 títulos, como o La Liga e a Copa do Rei.
Em 2013, retorna ao Milan. E em 2014, ao São Paulo. No ano seguinte, assina com o Orlando City, encerrando a carreira em 2017. Pela Seleção Brasileira foi campeão da Copa do Mundo em 2002 e da Copa das Confederações em 2005 e 2009, fazendo no total de 95 partidas, 31 gols. Em 2007 foi eleito o Melhor Jogador do Mundo e dois anos depois, o Bola de Ouro da Copa das Confederações. Ganhou ainda prêmios como o Bola de Ouro e o Bola de Prata da revista Placar (2002).
Kaká ama quando dizem que seu filho Luca é a sua cara. Como bom pai curte estar com ele e se ver nele, e aprender com ele. Como bom pai o jogador Ama o abraço e o beijo do seu primogênito.
Até hoje o atleta adora reunir os amigos para sua tradicional pelada.

Outro esporte que Kaká sempre que possível, está jogando , é o golfe, fica muito concentrado e se considera um grande apreciador e também se alto elogia dizendo ser um exímio jogador, brinca o craque.
Quando viaja a passeio, procura um bom restaurante, aprecia a culinária local e até pega algumas receitas que ele mesmo quando chega em casa se transforma em um Chef.
Kaká está com novas idéias assim que a vida retornar ao seu curso normal, continuar ajudando crianças e adolescentes carentes e abrir alguma coisa beneficente e também algo tipo um restaurante,
Por conseguinte Kaká se diz ser muito feliz , que Deus está sempre ao seu lado e de seus familiares ,nunca deixando de citar algum versículo da bíblia sagrada.
