Comparada a outras capitais europeias, Amsterdã parece um bairro. Compacta, é possível conhecer e se surpreender com uma dos lugares mais Raibow do mundo, que ainda, mesmo no período do Natal, se veste com todas as cores. Para mergulhar na cena gay da cidade é melhor planejar sua estadia pela capital holandesa por, pelo menos, cinco dias, porque boas opções é o que não faltam. Abaixo, uma lista dos lugares que merecem ser visitados.

Quer uma carta variada de drinks e ver gente bonita? Vá ao Prik. Todo mundo se encontra nesse bar seja para um happy hour, seja para um esquenta antes da balada.
*Taboo
Colado um ao outro, os dois estabelecimentos reúnem um público variado. Dos mais velhos aos mais jovens, todos bebem alguma no Taboo, que fica ao lado de duas baladas fervidas: Soho e Club Nyx. É um dos melhores points para conhecer gente e paquerar.
*SOHO
Essa balada reúne jovens que dançam e paqueram em torno de um bar estilo pub inglês. A música é bem variada e toca de eletrônica até sucessos pop remixados. O melhor: não paga para entrar.
*Church
Se você busca diversão sem limites e sem julgamentos, esse é o lugar. Church é uma mistura de fetish bar e balada liberal em que rola de tudo. Antes de ir, é sempre válido consultar a programação da casa, já que há noites com dresscode bem específico e outras festas com limite de horário para entrar.
*Café Montmartre
Quer entender como os holandeses se divertem? Esse pub é o lugar. Com músicas pop da Holanda e muita cerveja, o lugar lota aos fins de semana e toma conta da rua. Boa opção para esquenta. Clientela acima dos 30 anos.
*Queers
Tão lotado quanto o Montmatre, o Queers se diferencia pela atmosfera mais descontraída, com shows e uma trilha sonora mais pop.
Em Amsterdam, o espírito natalino começa, normalmente, logo após a tradicional festa holandesa de São Nicolau (Sinterklaas), no dia 05 de dezembro. Lâmpadas coloridas iluminam as ruas da cidade e alguns edifícios, como o da loja de departamento De Bijenkorf (na praça Dam), colocam suas decorações lindas de Natal.
*Vila de Natal
Entre os dias 17 e 30 de dezembro, acontece na Museumplein a Vila de Natal de Amsterdam. O espelho d’agua da praça se transformar em uma pista de gelo linda e há um mercado natalino no local também. O mercado de Natal tem quiosques com potenciais presentes de Natal, como jóias e artesanato, e há muitas banquinhas de comida.
*Patinação no gelo em Amsterdã
A maior pista de patinação no gelo ao ar livre em Amsterdam você vai encontrar na Museumplein.
O espelho d’agua é congelado para diversão das crianças e adultos. Você pode alugar patins no próprio local – existe ainda uma versão em miniatura da Skinny Bridge, ponto turístico da cidade.
*Festival da Luz de Amsterdã
A partir do começo de dezembro até o final de janeiro, a cidade de Amsterdam se ilumina com esculturas de luz, projeções e instalações de arte ao longo das suas ruas, praças e canais. Existem duas rotas a serem seguidas: uma caminhada ao longo das obras de arte espalhadas pelo centro da cidade, e uma rota de barco especial leva os visitantes para apreciar obras iluminadas ao longo dos canais e do rio Amstel.
Em síntese, Amsterdã é uma celebração o ano inteiro, porque lá o amor e os direitos iguais são vistos e entendidos como uma Festa de Natal que deve nos iluminar por dentro durante os 365 dias do ano, com as luzes de todas as cores.
