O Memorial “Eternamente Zezinho Corrêa”, inaugurado na terça-feira (08/02), pelo Governo do Amazonas, por meio da Secretaria de Estado de Cultura e Economia Criativa, emocionou familiares, amigos e visitantes. O memorial, que está instalado na Sala de Música e Dança do Teatro Amazonas, conta a trajetória do artista que fez bater forte o coração de fãs em todo o Brasil. A homenagem faz parte do roteiro de visita do patrimônio cultural.
Na abertura da visitação, a família do artista esteve presente e se emocionou com a homenagem. O falecimento do artista completou um ano no domingo (06/02).
O filho do artista, Olin Corrêa, considera justa e gratificante a homenagem a seu pai que foi um dos responsáveis por difundir a cultura amazonense em todo o mundo.
“Ter o rosto dele, ter a história dele, eternizada no Teatro Amazonas é uma excelente homenagem. Muito mais que merecida e eu fico extremamente feliz e honrado de ver uma homenagem tão linda”, disse Olin.
O memorial também conta com figurinos especiais do acervo do cantor, um painel e ainda um vídeo com momentos que marcaram a vida e a carreira do artista amazonense.
O secretário de Estado de Cultura e Economia Criativa, Marcos Apolo Muniz, também esteve presente no Memorial e convidou o público para visitar e conhecer a exposição sobre o artista.
“É uma justíssima homenagem de iniciativa do Governo do Amazonas. O Zezinho foi uma personalidade amazonense que sempre mostrou as nossas raízes, a nossa cultura e levou o nome do Amazonas em todas as suas apresentações. Então eu aproveito para convidar a todos para conhecerem o espaço e essa linda homenagem”, disse o secretário.
Para ter acesso ao espaço, é preciso agendar uma visita ao Teatro Amazonas em www.cultura.am.gov.br ou www.teatroamazonas.com.br. A visitação acontece de terça a sábado, das 9h às 15h, com entrada gratuita para amazonenses, mediante comprovação.
Sobre o artista – José Maria Nunes Corrêa, natural da comunidade de Imperatriz, em Carauari, ficou conhecido nacional e internacionalmente após o sucesso “Tic Tic Tac”, na década de 1990, quando liderava a banda Carrapicho.
Antes de se dedicar à carreira de cantor, Zezinho também fez curso de formação de atores, no Rio de Janeiro, e estudou interpretação e dança. Como ator, fez parte do Grupo de Teatro Experimental do Sesc, o Tesc, onde encenou espetáculos como “Folias do Látex” e “Tem Piranha no Pirarucu”.
Zezinho também investiu em carreira solo. Entre os destaques estão a sua participação no musical “Boi de Pano”, durante o Festival Amazonas de Ópera de 2000; a gravação do CD solo no Teatro Amazonas em 2001 e a participação no musical de Natal “Ceci e a Estrela”, em 2017.
Em 2020, Zezinho estrelou campanha do Governo do Amazonas em homenagem aos profissionais de saúde, que atuaram na linha de frente do combate à pandemia de Covid-19, interpretando a música “Um Novo Tempo”, de Ivan Lins, no palco do Teatro Amazonas.
No dia 28 de dezembro de 2020, o cantor participou do lançamento online do livro “Eu Quero é Tic, Tic, Tac”, escrito pelo jornalista e produtor cultural Fabrício Nunes, que também é um dos organizadores do memorial, junto com o artista plástico Jandr Reis.
Zezinho faleceu aos 69 anos, no dia 6 de fevereiro de 2021, vítima da Covid-19.
